Angela Medina


Angela Medina is dually licensed as a Clinical Professional counselor and School Counselor. Originating from Chicago, Illinois, Angela received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University, resulting in opportunities to support and strengthen in child welfare. With a passion in serving disadvantaged communities as a clinical therapist, Angela pursued a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Saint Xavier University to further serve and support Adolescents and Adults in hospital, outpatient, and school settings for 10 years.

Angela’s therapeutic approach is eclectic, utilizing theories and interventions that includes Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to untangle and heal from experiences. Angela views the psychotherapeutic relationship as collaborative; By embodying congruence, unconditional positive regard, and empathic understanding, Angela believes in your capacity for self-awareness and reflection to promote change.
