Natisha Salmon

With a passion to see the lives of others from different walks of life overcome struggles as well as growing up in a home where my parents were therapeutic foster parents, the love for Psychology and counseling was sparked.

Natisha studied Psychology and obtained a Bachelor’s from the University of South Florida. With a desire to further her education, she thereafter received her Master’s from Troy University with a degree in Counseling and Psychology.

Natisha has worked in the child welfare system providing support to youth with emotional distress needs as well as assisting families with reunification when possible. Ms. Salmon also has a background working with diverse populations and has had the opportunity to facilitate group sessions that provided crisis intervention. Ms. Salmon has also facilitated anger management sessions and promoted coping strategies for both youth and adults as an Anger Management Specialist.

To provide ongoing support in the community, Ms. Salmon currently volunteers her time with Lake Girls Academy as a mentor to girls that are a part of the Department of Juvenile Justice and are receiving intense mental health treatment.
