Nicholas Kolos is dual licensed as a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. Nicholas received a Master’s in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of South Florida. He has experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings and has worked with children and adults.
Nicholas uses an integrative cognitive-behavioral approach that blends different kinds of therapies through the filter of cognitive behavioral theory. Nicholas believes that by examining and changing our thoughts and behaviors, we can increase our overall quality of life. Nicholas develops treatment plans specifically tailored to each of his client’s needs to help them reach their specific goals they desire to accomplish. He uses a warm, compassionate, and assertive approach to assist clients on their journey for change.
